What you should know about me. I'm not from Red Bluff, or from the North State for that matter. Since I was 12 years old I lived in Southern CA. I graduated from Cal State Northridge with my BA in Spanish and then received my teaching credential there as well. I lived and studied in Granada, Spain for almost a year as well as Cuernavaca, Mexico for a month. At Northridge I was named Student Teacher of the Year but more importantly, it is there that I met, and married, my husband Joe. Demanding that I not apply to work down South, I applied to random counties in the North State. I only heard from and interviewed with one school, Red Bluff High, and I have been a teacher here since, 26 years. I love teaching Spanish (and French when I could) and it was certainly special when I was recognized as a Teacher of the Year for Tehama County in 2007. I want you to know that I take your (your student's) learning seriously while trying everything I know to make mine a class you look forward to attending.
