I love teaching Spanish at Red Bluff High School! I have taught Spanish here for 15 years, which has given me the opportunity to teach many levels of Spanish. I currently am teaching College Prep Spanish I and College Prep Spanish III.
I began my college career at Butte Community College and then I transferred to California State University, Chico, where I graduated with a BA in Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. I also attended La Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, Heredia, where I studied Spanish. While living in Costa Rica, I taught English to first grade students.
I love to travel and have taken many trips to Spain and Costa Rica. I travel with students almost every summer to both Spain and Costa Rica. If you are interested, just ask me for some information!
I currently live in Cottonwood with my husband John, who teaches Science at Berrendos Middle School. Our son Tanner graduated from RBHS in 2016 and attends University of Nevada, Reno.
