Career Technical Education (CTE)

Career Technical Education(CTE) is set to engage, motivate, and prepare all students for the future. The academic, technical, and workplace skills offered through CTE are essential to success for all working adults.
 
Vision
CTE will engage every student in high-quality, rigorous, and relevant educational pathways and programs, developed in partnership with business and industry, promoting creativity, innovation, leadership, community service, life-long learning, allowing students to turn their "passions into paychecks" - their dreams into careers.
 
 Mission
The mission of CTE is to provide industry-linked programs and services that enable all individuals to reach their career goals in order to receive economic self-sufficiency, compete in the global marketplace, and contribute to California's economic prosperity.

Red Bluff High School - GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 
Beginning with Graduates in 2019 and forward – All students must earn 20 credits (two years) in the same CTE pathway.    
 
Community Service hours are recommended for all CTE students. Community service may be available through CTE courses and individual achievement.  Upon graduation, twenty hours of documented Community Service will result in a CTE Industry tassel charm.
