Physical Education
Students will understand the importance of being physically active for a lifetime through becoming proficient in a variety of movement forms and activities while mastering two or more of those activities.
Students will demonstrate knowledge of and competency in motor skills, movement patterns, and strategies needed to perform a variety of physical activities throughout every unit by demonstration with performance evaluations and check off lists.
Students will achieve a level of physical fitness for health and performance while demonstrating knowledge of fitness concepts, principles, and strategies by participating in a fitness oriented atmosphere that reinforces the learning and participation of every student in PE.
Students will demonstrate knowledge of psychological and sociological concepts, principles, and strategies that apply to the learning and performance of physical activity by being supportive and encouraging towards their fellow students, creating a healthy physical activity environment.
